on the Texas Gulf Coast!
I have fished almost every bay in Texas, starting at Christmas Bay and Drum Bay 35 years ago. I live in the Surfside/Freeport area. In 2006 I obtained my captains license and purchased my first saltwater fishing guide license.
I primarily guide at San Luis Pass, I fish West Galveston Bay, Cold Pass and my customers have had many successful trips here. I will sometimes fish the back bays, lakes and bayous. When fishing at San Luis Pass, I'll launch at San Luis Pass County Park which is 20 miles west of the City of Galveston and 20 miles east of the Village of Surfside.
I also guide in East Matagorda Bay and many of my customers have had great fishing trips there. I launch at Caney Creek Marina in Sargent, Texas when fishing East Matagorda Bay. Sargent, Tx is 25-30 miles west of the Surfside/Lake Jackson area.
I will also guide in East, Upper and Lower Galveston Bays as well as West Matagorda Bay. I guide on a limited basis in Aransas, Red Fish, Corpus Christi, Upper Laguna Madre Bays and Baffin Bay. All of these locations have resulted in great fishing trips for many of my customers.
